Emina Katarina Kronburger
Emina Katarina Kronburger is a German artist with Bosnian and Croatian roots, working on commissioned, site-responsive sculptural projects for public and institutional space.
Her practice focuses on the development of long-term urban landmarks that integrate artistic vision with technical feasibility and spatial analysis.
Her artistic and professional development spans several European countries, including extended periods in Italy, Spain, the United Kingdom, and across Europe, shaping a strong sensitivity to cultural and spatial contexts, complemented by a distinctly German approach to precision and planning.
Alongside her artistic practice, she gained extensive experience in international event management and holds a Bachelor’s degree in Tourism Management, with a focus on destination marketing and place-based branding. This background informs her understanding of city identity, visitor experience, and long-term attraction development.
Kronburger works primarily on a commissioned basis, developing each project through extended engagement with its specific location. Her artistic language ranges from organic forms and natural materials to contemporary industrial elements, including glass, metal, and advanced technological systems.
Cities and institutions may invite the artist as an Artist-in-Residence, within an exclusive and individually tailored program, to collaboratively define concept, scale, and budget as the basis for commissioning or acquisition.
